Job Overview: TPA is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Transaction
Specialist to assist in closing Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) transactions across
Texas. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to provide sustainable financing
solutions for commercial property owners looking to improve energy efficiency, water
conservation, and renewable energy projects.

Transaction Specialist

  • Location: Remote, applicant must reside in Texas
  • Organization Type: Nonprofit (Small Organization)

Key Responsibilities:
  • PACE Project Application Intake
    • Manage application intake, timely invoicing, and document preparation and monitoring to ensure timely transaction completion
    • Facilitate new capital provider onboarding, including training, reviewing required documents and discussing TPA processes
  • PACE Project Approval Process
    • Collaborate with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, attending kick off and periodic meetings to gather and share information on project process, capital provider concerns, and documentation
    • Coordinate with parties to address legal and technical feedback ensuring documentation is complete for timely closing
    • Maintain project data in Salesforce
  • Post Closing Audit and Project Document Data Maintenance:
    • Conduct post-closing audits, ensuring compliance and updating data in Salesforce
    • Ensure all activities adhere to Texas’ robust relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Reporting
    • Assist in the preparation of quarterly, annual and other reports.
    • Perform research and tasks as assigned
  • Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years commercial loan closing experience
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse parties
    • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow through
    • Working knowledge of and experience with Salesforce
    • Working knowledge of and experience with Google Workspace
    • Knowledge of public record research
