T5 Webinar: Tracking Success: Hear why TX-PACE is taking off and how you can take advantage, May 18, 2023 2:00 PM
Join Dub Taylor, Chief Operating Officer of Texas PACE Authority, for an analysis of why TX-PACE Financing is taking off and expanding across Texas. Learn what TX-PACE is, why owner and developer interest is increasing and why more local governments are adopting TX-PACE programs for their businesses and nonprofit organizations.
In 2022 alone, TPA facilitated more than $172 million in energy and water-saving improvements to businesses and nonprofit properties, increasing these organizations’ operating income and improving the built environment in their communities. The use of TX-PACE in 2022 equaled the investment in all previous years combined. Projects range from $68,000 to $40 million in rural and urban areas.
The Texas PACE program is available in 87 counties and cities and reaches 73% of the Lone Star Statepopulation. TX-PACE financing has enabled the repurposing of old buildings into their new, highest, and best use. In December, HUD approved TPA’s PACE program for use with HUD-assisted and FHA-insured properties. As the program grows, its impact grows. As of today, TPA’s projects are projected to save more than 100 million gallons of water and more than 75 million kWh annually. The TX-PACE programs are creating economic growth, job creation, and increased efficiency and resiliency in the built environment.
TPA looks forward to a great 2023 as we continue to serve communities throughout Texas.
