A recent article, published by the Environmental Defense Fund, uses Texas’ largest PACE project at the historic Butler Brothers Building as an example of why New Jersey should pass a PACE program. The article highlights the “new life” given to historic buildings and promotes the use of PACE as a financial tool that leverages public resources to catalyze private investment while providing access to efficiency and other clean energy upgrades.
