Summer Solar PV Training Series

Come join us for FREE solar trainings across the state of Texas!

Solar PV for Real Estate Professionals Workshop:
Brokers, agents, and appraisers will learn how a solar-equipped property is assessed for  valuation purposes, particularly when no comparable properties exist within a typical distance. Analytics for valuation will also be presented.

Financing Solar Energy Systems:
This workshop will bring together commercial and multi-family property owners and lenders to discuss available rebates and tax credits for purchasing solar energy systems.

Solar PV Fire Inspector Training & Fire Code Compliance Training:
Fire Inspectors will learn about applicable fire codes and methods for implementing code requirements in residential and commercial photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Solar for Local Governments:
Participants will acquire a fundamental understanding of residential and commercial photovoltaic systems, components that comprise a system and their functional role, basic mechanical and physical characteristics of solar panels, and be provided answers to many common questions – including many you may not know what to ask.

Trainer Biography:
Dan Lepinski, PSC is a leading expert in the solar energy industry. Mr. Lepinski has over 40 years of experience designing solar PV systems and equipment. He serves on the UL Standards Technical Panel, the Solar Industry Task Force that interfaces with the National Fire Protection Association, and the Solar America Board for Codes and Standards. Mr. Lepinski has taught a variety of audiences and consulted on a variety of subjects and client projects pertaining to Solar PV.
